SNAS University provides housing options as part of the university’s efforts to enhance the educational experience of its students. By increasing opportunities for teamwork, enabling closer friendships and serving as a microcosm of a well-ordered community, dormitory life serves as an important venue for each student’s personal growth.
To provide a positive living experience for SNAS students, the university has a state of the art residence halls for its students. . SNAS hopes to have more housing available on campus for students in the future. Meanwhile, students participate in a yearly ballot for room allocation to make the selection process free of bias.
SNAS Hostel housing is managed by the Vice Dean. The residence halls have washroo services for all student bedrooms, security guards a security alarm system and rapid emergency response services. The Vice Dean’s Office ensures all the residence halls run efficiently.
Here are some of the features of residence halls:
- Main lobby
There is a front desk, an office for Ghana Nuclear Society (GNS) coordinators as well as an office for the SRC Student Council.
- Student Lounge
The lounge has comfortable furniture where students can sit and relax as well as host their friends and visitors.
Up the stairs are nicely set tables and chairs where students can sit to enjoy their meals.
- The Kitchenettes
- There are two kitchenettes in each block
A laundry space for washing and a number of drying lines.
- Multi-purpose court which can be used for basketball, volleyball and tennis games.
